This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what happens to the information you give us when you request a home readiness report. It describes how the system actually works - nothing more, nothing less. The AI Home Sale Advisor is operated by Real Agency Ltd., Brokerage. Only what you type or upload:
Three purposes: to prepare your home readiness report; to have Katie review it before it reaches you; and to follow up on the enquiry you made. If you tick the separate, optional box for market updates, we will also send you those - and every such email contains an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately and permanently.
We use Anthropic's Claude, a commercial AI service, to draft the written portions of your report. We send it a restricted subset of your submission, enforced by an allowlist in our code:
Under Anthropic's commercial terms, material sent to the API is not used to train AI models by default, and is retained by Anthropic only temporarily under its commercial data-retention policy. The AI is instructed to describe only what is plainly visible in photos and never to comment on people or personal items.

Access to your information is limited to two named people: Katie Davidson, Broker of Record, and the application's developer. Internal review pages are reachable only through cryptographically signed links; there is no public login. We keep a minimal internal event log (for example: submission received, report drafted, report edited, report sent) for troubleshooting.
We keep your submission and your report while they remain relevant to your enquiry and our records. We do not currently delete records on an automatic schedule - if that changes, this policy will say so. You can request deletion at any time (below), and where a record relates to an actual trade in real estate, Ontario law requires us to retain it for the legally mandated period, which takes precedence.
Email katie@realagency.ca at any time to: ask what we hold about you and receive a copy; correct it; withdraw your consent; or have your record, photos, and report deleted. We verify that a request comes from the email address on the record, and we complete verified requests within 30 days. If you ask us never to contact you again, we keep only your email address on a suppression list so that we can honour exactly that.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

If you arrive here from the main website, your browser address bar may briefly show analytics parameters added by that site; the Advisor does not read, use, or store them. When this policy changes, we update this page and its date.
